Hall of Fame

Nomination 

• Any person connected with East High School, past or present, may nominate a person for the Athletic Hall of Fame.
• An individual nominating a person for the Athletic Hall of Fame must complete the Wichita High School East Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form.
• Nominees can be on the ballot for three years. After three years, he/she must be re-nominated to return to the ballot.
• Current committee members are not eligible for nomination or induction into the East High Athletic Hall of Fame.
• Please review the list of inductees before submitting a nomination.

Nominee

The nominee must, during and following his/her career, have exemplified the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character.

In addition, a nominee in the ATHLETE category must have:

• Been a member of an East High School athletic team during his/her career at East High School
• Graduated from East High School
• Graduated at least ten years prior to nomination

In addition, a nominee in the COACH category must:

• Have coached at East High School at least five years
• Not currently be coaching at East High School
• In addition, a nominee for the TEAM category must:
• Have won a state championship
• Displayed outstanding athletic performance

In addition, a nominee for the CONTRIBUTOR category must:

• Have made an outstanding contribution or had a significant impact on the sports program at East High School
