The East High LEARNING CENTER may be for you!!!

 

The EAST HIGH LEARNING CENTER offers individualized programs that:

  • Allow students to begin classes anytime.
  • Allow students to move through course work at their own pace.
  • Allow flexible days and times.
  • Require commitment, persistence, and self-direction.

HOURS:

  • 1:00 – 6:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday
  • 1:00 – 3:15 p.m. Friday

  • Just inside the south entrance to the west complex of East High

ENROLLMENT GUIDELINES:

  • Currently enrolled high school students may retake courses for credit in the Learning Center.
  • Community students may enroll for original credit to complete diploma requirements.
  • IB students can take Government for original credit.

 

CURRICULUM:

  • English 1 through 4
  • Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Informal Geometry, Geometry, Algebra 2
  • World Studies, U.S. History 1 & 2, Government
  • Science Survey, Biology
    Computer Applications (1st sem.)

COST:

  • $75 per ½ credit for currently enrolled students
  • $5 per course for students who have been out of school for at least 6 months
