One of the hardest things we have dealt with is the tragic loss of (Sr)Brian Hall, a second year student in the program. He was a very energetic 17 year old who was willing to help anyone with anything. Brian volunteered for many projects and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The Seniors have been busy with a computer design project which they
have made into a scale model. Each design includes all the HVAC,
electrical, landscape, and plumbing planes.
The other big project for the seniors is designing and building storage sheds to sell. They have just finished two, including one for the soccer field, and have started on the next two to hopefully be finished by the end of this school year. In this project, the profit gained is used to purchase supplies for our program while teaching them real world experience such as deadlines.
It's been a great year and I'm going to miss them.
